i was going to bore and stroke with 90mm bore and 91 storke but i realy wanted to get the car rolling since the nice weather is coming back around !to make a long story straight i went to the local jdm importer to price just a long block they told me like 1200$ with out any sensors just the block . i did some more digging around with me resources and stubled upon 2 sr engines for 700$ bucks i jumped on it fast not knowing the condition of them cause i figga with 3 sr20's sitting in my basement i can at least build one good one i found on this one motor had all brand new stock internals look like it never been fired but had high cly leak down on #3 so i opened it up and found the rod cap bolts loose i basicly torn the whole block apart and retorqued all the blots and check all my clearance every thing is good so i went with that block since its brand new !!!!. holding off to bore and stroke one of the other sr20 after my rhd conversion. as for mods to the engine im running a fmic with greddy blow off valve, megan exhaust mani heat wraped ! with elbow ,3' down pipe , test pipe and turbo 3' exhaust. hks waste gate adjuster on my stoke turbo , k&n mines short ram air filter exedy 3 puck stage 2 clutch with exedy light weight fly wheel , turbo xs dual stage boost controler . basicly the same set up i had in it the 1st time it pulls hard for an every day driver in the spring and summer !!!
