I was wondering how do i remove this black box on the side of the motor circled in the picture?

remove the bolts holding it on, slide the clamps holding the hose on the left and the one under it off their respective tubes and pull it off.

What do i do with the hoses that are connected to it, and by any chance do you know what that thing does.

egr stuff not really need just use some heater hose and route it to the valve cover from the back of the motor frees up some hp not much but take wat u can het haha.
