i know and ive seen the hype about the sr20, its the jlo of jap motors but some things just dont make sense. what could you do to your 2.4L 4 cylinder to make it just as powerful or near as possible to its most common trade. sr20det, is there any advantages the ka24 turboed has over an sr20. and out of curiousity, is there a certain point of your vehicles motor mileage that you should not turbo it. my ka has 80,000 and runs strong but i dont know about a turbo

80,000 is low mileage for a 93 ka if you ask me, do a compression test and see how it turns out. My motor has 130,xxx miles and im going turbo.

The KA's are iron blocks, which is stronger than (SR) aluminum blocks. more displacementcheaper/easier to locate spare parts etc.

KA-Ts are capable of just as much hp and more torque :pface than SRs. You might want to repost this in the KA-T section for more/better info.
