Go get a tap and dye kit. Find the dye that fits the bolt and there you go. Fyi almost all nissan bolts are 1.25 thread.

Hey Tommey, I tried to private message you but apparently I haven't been active enough :squint: Hopefully you get this and dont mind answering a few questions for me. I know this thread is older than dirt but maybe youll remember.

Did you use the fsm torque specs after the helicoil and did it hold? Did you only thread in the coil as far as the bolt would reach into the oil gallery? Last but not least, How did it hold up in the long run? Any info would be appreciated.

Also thanks for the bolt specs !

Hi!
I did not use the torque specification from the FSM.
The helicoil was cut so it was just long enough for the hole.
Helicoil should in theory be a stronger solution (more surface area).
It's still running @ 450whp.

I did not torque the squirters.
Follow the OEM torque specs and you will be safe :)
