my names ryan and i'm new to this site. i have an 89 240 with an sr20 and i've searched all over and cant find anything on this site that will help me. a few days ago i started smelling gas while i was driving. when i got home i noticed it was leaking out of the cover of my gas tank where my fuel pump is. the gasket or O ring was shot so we replace it and now it wont start. it ran perfectly before, even with the gas leak. i dont understand what could of changed or went wrong when i replace the o ring its getting fuel all the way to fuel rail so maybe someone here could help me out.thanks

Did you plug the fuel pump back in? Remove the fuel lines and accidently reverse them when you re-installed them?

hey i have a similiar problem....just installed the walbro fuel pump on my car today.....worked fine for about half an hour....then suddenly my car started to run really rough...turns out one of my injector crapped out....

im goin to switch injectors when i get a chance.....

so your getting fuel at the rail....hmmmm....im starting to think that i might have let some dirt or something into the fuel line....when i was changin the pump.....that might of clogged up my injector.....well gonna have to wait until i get a chance to take it out and inspect it....

i'll keep you posted....

Im hoping you have a fuel filter right?! If so, you wont have dirt at the injector....or shouldn't.

If you don't plan on upgrading your car than you'll want to stick with the stock 370cc injectors.

If you're needing reliability out of any of the injectors you own than definitely contact the people at Deatschwerks. http://www.deatschwerks.com/catalog/
