ok i just finished my sr swap few days ago it was running Icreadibly well... but let me just say i had a lot of problems with this swap i had to re do and re pin the wireing harness. It took me about 3 days to get the car running right. Now to my problem. I was driving back from the car wash and i heard a POP and my turbo stop spooling, I inmediatly tough the waste gate is gone, so i got home let it cool down and started checking the turbo set up, i checked the TBC, i bypassed it ,with no luck, checked the fins, shaft and waste gate door, and found no problems, but a little shaft play on the turbo. I put everything back together and wired the waste gate closed to see if i could spool the turbo, but nothing. i dont know what the problem is i checked ic piping and vacumm with no luck, so right now it runs but like if it was na. It zeros out by boost controller and it stops there it will not build pressure at all, any imput will help me a ton...

I don't have an experience with this, but could it have seized?

Does the turbo spool, just not build boost? Or you cant hear it spool at all?

That pop noise your mention makes me really think that you have a charge pipe that popped off. Do a boost leak check and see where that gets you.

i did that already caped my air filter and charged the system but no leaks, and if that was the case i would not be able to rev my engine up past 2500 rpms, it would go in to limp mode and is not the case with my car, i shoul also mention i have a pull through system (meaning it pulls air through the MAF).

you wouldn't go into limp mode without unplugging the MAF
