sr20 Motor mounts

im doing the sr20det swap in a 91 240 and heres the question

did you use the stock 240sx mounts or the silvia mounts that come on the swap

Im pretty sure they are the same since the motor is a direct swap. I mean you can take the mounts off the SR and see if they fit.

The mounts are identical. Just pick the ones in better condition...if they both suck, grab the nismo ones.

please use use use the sr mounts if you have it , my buddy use the sr mounts and his swap goes smooth, but when i did my swap and use ka mounts. It will work, but a ***** to line up, prepare to use words such bishez, mother ****, or **** ka mounts

dude mounts are the same for KA and SR but if can afford to buy nismo mounts i suggest u do so

yeah.. the mounts are identical.

They are both biotches to put in. Regardless of whether you put the mount first or you put the engine with the mount on... You will be cursing. I guarantee it.

i grabbed some motormounts from http://www.jgstools.com and look at the ka stuff itll be in that page. its awsome. quality wise is great and top notch. made by energy suspension. i bought them for 130 or so. they said the holes need to be drilled a little bigger but when i put them on it fit fine. now i just have to put the motor in and see how they perform. i will get pictures when i have time. check them out.

Did you ever install these? I am thinking about motor mounts and these look like the cheapest path. How do you like them????

Stay away from solid motor mounts if it is going to be a DD......Believe me, I have tightened every bolt I can think of about 3000x.....lol
