well not really...after the swap, when i started driving it..i noticed the RPMS drop after doing things that drain power...(pumping brake pedal, high beams, AC, holding window switches after they're fully open/closed...etc)

is this an alternator problem? i'm a lil unsure of it...i'd like to get it resolved...i mean ATM i'm having no real problems w/ it...cept that it's kinda weird to idle 100 rpm lower if i have my high beams and AC on... :help

Your IACV is not functioning properly. when you turn on a load it is suppose to compenstae for it by jacking the idle.

you will have to test it with the service manual for that engine. I would have a difficult time trying to help you with it with out having the manual myself. What year is it. I have a S-14 service manual for the sr-20 but dont know if its the same year as yours.
