sr20 ignitor ground

hey everyone, i was having a problem with my car losing power once it was driven for a good hour or so..noticed my ignitor was getting hot and swapped in a different one once the problem happened. instantly went away but then ano hour later the new ignitor would get hot and i'd lose power. so now i know its something to do with the ignitor/wiring.

..my question is..is there suppose to be a ground coming from the 2 ignitor plugs ( or somewhere near ) because i dont have a ground at all. also is there a way of tapping into an ignitor plug wire to ground it out? . oh and all my other grounds are hooked up, intake,head,coils etc. any help would be great, thanks!
