I have my timing set perfect to factory specs. 15* at idle. But I'm only pulling a vaccuum on my boost gauge of 15. I'm pretty sure I don't have a boost leak or any vaccuum leaks. Also the car idles kind of low. 750-800. This is getting on my nerves. I fix one thing and something else has to mess up. It's rather frustrating.

For now I'm running a SAFC, unfortunately because I have a Z32 maf. I have all the right settings, 2 in 5 out. About -25 on the setting for low throttle. Does this sound right?

Isn't 15 pretty normal? I just got my setup done and I am only at 11 inHG of vacuum. I need to check some things out but I do have jwt c1 cams. My idle is set at 800 with the power fc but with cams it jumps around between 800-900. I still don't think it should be that low. I need to double check my timing tomorrow and check all my vacuum lines.

i believe that around 20 vacuum is normal. i dont realy see anything wrong with an 800 idle. but fyi, u changed ur air sensor and havent tuned for it yet, u might want to do something about that before u start having worse problems.

think about it like this, anytime u mess with the air or fuel in your car, u need to tune for it.

Well obviously. I'm not a complete idiot. I don't get on it for one, but I do have the right settings in the SAFC for the Z32 maf. Thing is the car idle'd fine before I changed the timing to the correct degree.

800 idle is fine, what did it idle at before to make u think that 800 is not good? for the low vacuum, check for vacuum leaks, that is probably the case. as for ur maf, get it tuned. those settings u put in doesnt do anything for correcting any fuel for the change in the mafs.good luck
