Im sorry to bring this post back up but i am having the issue as well, mine was really bad to the point were it would barely drive but ive changed the coolant temp sensor, rerouted some of the vacuum lines and wiring and re tightened the intercooler clamps, it takes a lot longer for it to do it now but it still falls on its face after a while. going to check my maf wiring and see if there is something going on there.

^same here... This weekend I regapped my spark plugs, cleaned my MAF, replaced my coolant temp sensor, and checked hose clamps for tightness. And I thought it fixed the problem but last night on the way home the problem showed up again.

Things I have checked/tried before:checked timingreplaced MAF

setup:blacktop s13 srstock other than FMIC, Greddy BOV, HKS filter

I cna't check codes on my ecu, it does not have the led to do so. I am going to wire up the gauge light soon

okay so i today cleaned my maf, and checked the timing, and with the engine warmed up, tps unplugged, and the idle sitting around 800ish, i set the timing to 15degrees btdc. i drove the car afterwords, and it feels somewhat better but after sitting for about 5 minutes at idle at a light or something the car falls on its face, and shuts off, and wont really rev up past 2.5k maybe 3k, if you turn it off and let it sit for about 10 seconds and restart it, it drives perfectly fine with slight stutters. and if it sits for 5 mins again it will do the same thing over again. im going to try resetting the cas tommorrow and see if that is the culprit. any other ideas for me to check while im doing that would be great. thanks.

Did you check the basics like plugs, coils and injectors first?

okay well i think i found out as to why my car was doing what it was doing...i figured it was something in the tank from how it was acting in long turns...so i pulled the pump out and there was dirt all over the sock and rust in the tank. i cleaned the sock and put it all back together, ( im gonna have to drop the tank and clean it soon) and today the car didn't stutter one bit or have any hesitation and didn't stall out on me.
