I've got a GT25R .86 a/r turbo, and fuel. I want to go with some cams (264/264), but i'm not sure what else I should do. Obviously a head gasket too, but besides that what do I need? What should I do? Port the head? How much will that cost? Who can do it? Valve job? Valve springs? What do I need?

I was going to get a thicker HG, but i'm not really sure anymore. Ideas?

With my tax return i'm looking at spending around 1000-1500. I don't know how hard it is to remove the head and such, it seems pretty hard and time consuming (i don't have much time) so I doubt i'll do it myself.

I searched, and I really couldnt find much on what is best for the SR20DET head...

Valve springs would be a good idea to get while the head's off. Find out how much a polish job for the head is. Porting would be nice but not enough shops know how to do a good head job.

You should however, replace the valve stem seals and possibly the guides.

Probably head studs also.
