There may already be a thread about this or i may be in the wrong section but i was wondering if anyone can provide some info on whether the sr head can be matched with a ka block

Yeh, Nissan of Australia makes an adapter plate. It also lowers compression so you can run 22 psi of boost on the stock t25 turbo. Its kind of costly though. Well worth the money in my opinion. Google it you should find it there.

what is your motivation behind wanting to put a SR head on a KA block?

just wondering about gains and powerband changes but ive change my mind now i think i am just going to port and polish my ka head do some cam swapping and knife edging while changing to performance valves and springs with performance retainers and then switching the ka24de pistons for ka24e ones for higher cr ratings with plenty of other mods to come but thanks for all the people who helped
