does anybody know if the driveshaft of the SR is shorter than that of a KA? what are the primary differences between the two? and can the ABS HICAS LSD be fitted to an 89 S13 with Blacktop SR (newbie: GoTrIcE_00).

im installing his diff we get from the junkyard, but before attempting to squeeze the driveshaft in i would like to know if that 3/4 of extra length will not throw off the phasing of the transmission and driveshaft. who knows?

the ka driveshaft fits the sr20det if doing the sr20det swapon the 240sx chassis. it should fit the other way around i guess.

I'm using a non-ABS S13 driveshaft with a J30 ABS differential and it works fine.

well I can say from experience that the ABS driveshaft on a non-ABS S13 makes the car turn into one big vibrating massager on acceleration and deceleration
