SR20 Coolent flow question

i was wondering what the inlet is, dose coolent flow block to head or vise versa thanks

If you look at the FSM you'll find a diagram that shows the direction of the coolant and oil flows through out the engine. But, yes, lower rad hose brings cooled coolant to bottom of block, and eventually comes out at top of head to upper rad hose.
