If you searched and only came up with getting a FMIC for $200, you need to search more. Replace all the necessary stuff for the swap, and do upgrades later. Mounts, clutch light flywheel, gaskets, belts, etc. Forget about the FMIC, it is pointless for stock and you can always do it later.

i got all the necessary stuff like i said im on a budget and would like to save as much as possible and i need a FMIC so im just wondering if it would be ok to cheap out on a ebay FMIC with a knock off hot pipe and BOV and i should be able to use the stock radiator with some dual fans hooked to it

i actually rock an ebay fmic. only problem was pinholes in the lower pipes i found testing for leaks. they had to be welded. get a good bov, dont cheap out on that. i know building on a budget sounds great, but getting nothing but cheap parts will bite you eventually. then your spending even more. good luck w/ swap though.

thanks, the engine cost me about 2000$ so i gotta watch what i get but does anyone know of a good hotpipe and bov kit with the flange welded on??? ive been lookin but seems like most are over the 400$ range which is kinda ridiculous i wish heavy throttle was still around id just buy the complete install kit and call it a day

Get an ebay fmic and downpipe. But for parts with more mechanical pieces you want to spend more money on quality parts. Good luck man
