Carbs can be more expensive than a standalone nowadays. I was looking hard for them when I still had my AE86. Check Ebay frequently. They often have webber 40 and 45 DCOE's for sale (i'de get the 45's for an SR).

As far as the manifold you can find them with a google search usually. Look for webber manifolds. Be patient. I'll try to find some stuff when i'm not at work.

ive got some 55mm solex side drafts, im just looking fo r aproject to use em on. im either gonna do another mr2 or a carb'd vr6 or a sr20/ca18. im leaning a bit more towards the ca since i believe it would hold up under high rpm track days a bit better, i was also contemplating the ka24 motor, still have a lot of research to do though, just woudnering what available, i want to plan this project out so i can have it done before summers out.

I'de do a first gen MR2 (I used to have one). The CA would be much better carburated than the SR. It's got a better valvetrain. The 240 isn't really that light though. That's why i'de do an MR2 or a Rolla.

i alreayd have a '86 mr2 turbo, hehe, so im through with mr2's i think for a while, unless i find a 85 hardtop or osmethign really cool.

im gonna use the carbs as quad bodies also, im also gonna play around with some alcohol injection with a rpm trigger i think

i have a spair haltech laying around that if i sell im just gonna loose money on so im just gonna find a car to instal it on. dont think i wanna do another toyota, wanna learn some new motors, ive taken apart ca's but never sr20, rotaries or a vr6 which really interests me,
