SR20 bogging out at part throttle.....

searched but different problems where present. One was at full throttle and the other had irratic idle. The thing is this SR idles perfect, but as soon try to move under part throttle is bogs out from 2000-3000 RPM, then after that it's ok. Then stopped at lot, with no load I revved the engine to 2500 and held it there and it burbs and bods up and down, but give it some and revs just fine, boosting great at full throttle. Only 1/5th throttleI'm guessing the MAF took a s***, it has a SOHC KA MAF it was fine this morning, cleaned it with proper spray and now I can bearily make it home. NOW! it has an adjustible fuel pres. regulater with a gauge: The gauge backing (numbers) behind the needle is like melting and proventing the needle from moving properly, you think this had anything to with it??
