So I've done a TON of research around 300zxclub.com, twinturbo.net, and still I cant get a straight answer if anyone has successfully re-clocked a stock turbo from a blacktop SR20DET and repositioned the wastegate actuator and got these to work with any success. Rather than paying a metric assload for JWT's or any other prefabbed kits.

I'm not new to this at all, I was able to fabricate (other than my own manifold) a full KA-Turbo setup. All of the work was done by yours truly. Before I pull the motor for other work, and buy the T28's I want to make sure I have what I need to minimize down time. Does anyone have a stock turbo that perhaps I could buy/borrow to get some measurements off of. Id paypal you money for it, and return it if need be. I just need to get an idea of how these are setup so the inlets/outlets will line up with the factory inter cooler piping.

Any/all ideas are welcome. We need a cheap solution for turbo upgrades. Seems no one wants to step up to the plate and find any.

I know a guy that recently did this very swap, he didn't mention any other problems, I was under the impression that the T25's and T28's were quite similar at least in their Nissan bodied versions

same as above. I've heard of it being done but havent seen anything in detail about. best chance is to just give it a go, you seem like you could handle the task
