sr20 blacktop problem help

alright in the last two weeks my car been running totally diffferent..... the first week my sr has just made a totally different sound when it starts to spool, its like a high piched sound and didnt boost as high it usually boosts around 7 or 8 pounds. then this week it only bost 4 or five punds dosent run as fast and still has weird sounds coming fron the turbo. and also the blow off valve is going off as much as it used to. i have no clue what is wrong do u have any ideas to help?

your turbo just took a dump

found the problem



the bolt on the intake to the turbo holding the filter with the maf got loose. it made its way to the turbo and all hell broke loose









going to put my two turbos that failed and frankenstein them together to make one good one

Be shure to get the CHRA balanced when you swap over the Compressor wheel or else the bearings will die within a year.

and throw some loctite on those bolts and nuts

Damn that sucks so bad. Do you have a k&n filter? I may have the same filter with plate like yours, i should check the bolts on mine. I would hate it so bad if the same thing happened to me.
