I was wondering how dependable an SR is as a daily driver? Can it be trusted on interstate trips and running around town on a regular as a daily driver? Also how long have most of you guys had your SRs in your cars and what issues do you run into treating it as a daily driver?

Thanks for the replies :)

yes

EDIT: Oh, and I've had my SR for a year now, and I've taken multiple long trips with it, the longest being a 5 hour trip out to VA beach

Well......I've had my SR for 6 months and drive it on average 80 miles a day while also taking trips to other cities and to the beaches. Runs great! No problems what so ever. Also I live in Orlando, FL. so it's hella hot over here.

If the SR is anything like the CA (drivability wise), I would say just replace the things you need to replace before you just go throwing it in your car i.e. thermostat, spark plugs etc. Just treat her nice and she'll be nice to you ;) .

If you take good care of your engine it wont break.I've seen sr's do over 200.000km without any problems.

I drive mine daily. I suggest that you do the motor mounts. Also, stay away from lightweight flywheels and really grippy clutches. I have both, and I think that I'm F-ing up my motor and/or clutch with all of the stop and go driving.
