Sr wont crank

I have a redtop sr that I just swapped out of my 92 s13 (wrecked) into a 89 s13. Both were originally atuo, but are now manual. Im using the subharness of the 92 (dohc) instead of the sohc subharness.Anyways, I finished getting everything hooked up and I've got power, but the starter's not kicking over. I have the neutral switch wired into itself, so that's not the issue. Not sure what else it might be. How exactly can I test the started to make sure it's getting power? Do you think there's a problem bc I'm using the dohc subharness instead of the sohc? btw, I used the dohc subarness bc the sohc positive terminal hook up was damaged. Let me know what you think.
