SR will not idle properly

ok so here is the problem.. Just had a rebuild done to the car and the shop tried to start it today, it idles rough around 2k rpm but thats w/o my cold pipe being connected to the car, now once the cold pipe is placed on the car starts to idle irraticaly and then dies. They have checked for vaccume leaks from the cold pipe back to the turbo and have found nothing. I have an Enthalpy tuned ecu along with an safc 2 which is set at 2 in 2 out, and i do not have my dec air set.. does anyone have an idea of what is going on? btw my set up is as follows.

you are describing a vacuum leak.

how about injectors....coils?

when you say it runs better with the cold pipe and you have not messed with any of these other things so it would have to be vacuum. That is about the only thing that will change with the cold pipe.

if something was wrong with anything else it would not change when you install the cold pipe...also, whats up with your air flow sensor when you are running without a cold pipe....there is nothing measuring air into the engine

ya my motor is not built like yours, but i got kinda got the same issues. only mine idles at 2000 rpms with everything connected!I really wanna figure this one out, its killin me!!!!!!!!!!!!!

kinda off topic, but how do you like that goodspeed intercooler? i have a set of goodspeed anti-sway bars on my 240, but they seem a little cheep.ive had em for about 1,000 miles and all the paint is starting to flake off of them! wtf?

I like it.. the core is pretty decent, the only thing i would say recommend is getting new silcone couplers. and i've had no problem with their antisway bars.. the only problem i have with godspeed was them lifting my car pic. off my photobucket acct. to use it to sell intercoolers on ebay.

If it started doing this immediately after the install then you should think about adjusting the idle. This is assuming your timing is good and your idle (while at 2k) is still steady. I had to adjust mine..its pretty common after a fresh install. with all of my swaps I have had to make this adjustment and then make adjustments after abotu a week or two of driving. this one has been steady.
