Hey guys,

I've searched around but only seemed to find write-ups on how to do this on ka's.

What I'm trying to figure out is where I can install a water temp sender for an autometer gauge. It's a standard 1/8NPT sender, but I dunno if theres a place already in the sr that I can mount it in or if I need to buy an adapter for something. Any ideas?

Thanks,Chris

PS - Happy New Years!!!

You can buy a upper water hose with an adapter for it. Just search

I would buy the one that bolts in bewteen the head the water outlet. It's alitle pricey, but it looks MUCH cleaner than the one for the upper hose.

I got a S14 water neck/outlet and a 1/4" to 1/8" NPT adapter from JEG's and put the water sender in the bung on the side of the S14 waterneck/outlet.

Ah ok... I checked out the Stance water neck adaptors as well as the S14 water necks. Gonna go with whatever I can get for cheaper. Thanks for the info.

Chris

EDIT: btw positron just read your build thread, great work!
