So today my Friend Scott introduces me to some kid with a V8 Camaro. No clue if its a SS or just a Z28. This kid swears on his life that ANY muscle car will beat ANY import. He is offering $100 cash-in-hand to anyone who can beat his camaro.

I'm thinking about taking up this offer as his 'maro is 100% bone stock.

You guys thinks @ 10psi I might be able to run with him? If not, what do you think I might need.

Mods are in signature.

Note: This will be a race held on a drag-strip so no worries of illegal street racing b/s

he'll walk you. auto v8 maros run mid 13's. if you would've said pre-1994 then it would be fine. around 98 they are rated at 270-280 hp but really make over 300. and 99+ they are rateda t 290-305 i think but are closer to 320. a manual is maro is good for low 13's depending on the year. you better be a mid 13 second car to hang

Um, I'm not too sure about that. I think you'll win, because I am running on stock boost and I beat my buddy's 96 Mustang Cobra with rear end gears and Intake exhaust (with no cat). I'm also running on stock wheels/with crappy retail tires.

Foxbody's are unreasonably slow, so that's nothing. I barely beat one with my KA powered S13, with a couple bolt on's.

Late 90's more than likely an LS1 6-Speed.

It will blow your doors off at 10 PSI.

Lid and Cutout w/ Decent Tires = High 12's @ 109 - 110

You'd be lucky to trap 106 - 107 with 14 PSI and a FMIC

Locked.
