Is the speed reading on the SR supposed to be different compared to the KA at a given RPM?

I'm taking into account two considerations: The stroke distance on the SR (though I'm leaning toward this not mattering since 1 RPM on the SR = 1 RPM on the KA). And also the SR transmission is, as far as I know, the same as the KA transmission aside from the bellhousing. The speed sensors are the same. But considering I put my car together correctly I think I should have the same Speed/RPM ratio...

...haha, anybody??

My SOHC KA Trans has a shorter 5th gear compared to my SR Trans. KA Trans is 65mph at 3000rpm in 5th. SR trans is 70mph at 3000rpm in 5th. All other gears seem to be the same ratio though. Not sure if theres a difference between SOHC KA and DOHC KA trannies.

Well I have two cars, one with a KA24DE/manual and the other with an SR20DET/auto - > manual swap. At 3500 RPMs in 5th gear my KA is at ~ 85 mph and my SR is at ~ 68 mph.

Ummm...lol any more thoughts??

Redtop + 5 spd.

5th gear 80MPH => about 3800~4000 RPM. This is good because that's the onset of my boost. Awesome passing response on the highway by a blip of my throttle.
