whats up all, im getting tired of my truck clunker ka and im gonna do a swap. thing is im short on cash flow and on a tight budget right now cause im going to college soon. what i wanted to know is if anyone would like to give me the plus and minuses of the sr and ca engines. the ca is much cheaper but the sr has its good points. any info and opinions would be appreciatiated. thanx.

ca can rev higher and boost higher cuz its a cast iron block, it is had a timeing belt over timeing chain what the sr has. depending on the year of 240sx the ca can bolt right in i believe with the 89-90 240sx's while an sr you will need to do minor work to get it to fit right.sr is good though cuz it has more power stock and has more parts i find, that are out for it.i would go with the ca personally because i like the fact of reving high, and boosting high and its cheaper. i am also goin to college next year and am gunna do a ca and did research on it myself.but each to his own.

Going to college, no money, motor swap... three things that don't go together well. How about you do a little research rather than asking a very subjective and broad question. The blinking button in the corner is your best friend.
