ok, i have found out why the dash lights wouldnt go off, one of the ignition connections by the battery needs to be grounded. but my fuel pump fuse is still blowing, and now i think the starter is making noises like its dying. im going to check the fuel pump electrical connections now, but has anyone experienced this problmem or know what i can do? thanks

Hey quiksilvia I just fixed my problem with the fuel pump fuse blowing and it was the air idle control wire's on the throttle body shorting out. Check it out I know exactly how you feel and hope it works!P.S. I even tried to replace the fuel pump. Try to disconnect all the plugs and plug them in one by one thats how I found the short!

My starter also sounds like crap. Sounds like 100 marbles rolling on a tin roof... but not as loud...
