I did the big swap not too long ago and after enjoying my new found horsepower for a couple months I proceeded to spin a bearing (I think). And now im in a hurry to fix it before the snow clears.

Anyway I was just wondering if anybody knew the order that I need to remove the head studs.

ANY info would be greatly apperciated!!!

P.S. Some info on where to get a high volume oil pump for an Sr20det would also be great!!!

Me? I hope to have it up and running in a few weeks. The block I've already got prepped, just got a few last measurements to take before installing the pistons but it's looking good. Just waiting for a few things to come in, gotta get some more time to fab some more parts, do more head work on the motor before it goes in. A few snags here and there but looking pretty good. Take your time if you're doing a rebuild though. It'll be worth it to know there are no errors.

If you mean me, then no it isnt ... yet! I just need to get ahold of a c pickerIm not even sure that it is the berings, but from what i've seen here there is a pretty good chance. No trace of anything in the oil, it just started knocking really bad all of a sudden.

Not that I was babying it or anything!!!

it costs me nothing. my buddies dad is a machinist. I do the work, he supervises and lets me use his machines for nothing.

if it's just knocking like crap, you should look around at other possibilities before tearing it apart. Gets expensive fast. I've already dumped about 2k into the parts alone for my rebuild, and that's with all the labor supplied by me.
