I was looking at my CA18DET last night side by side with my friend's SR20DET. Now since all you need to do to make a SR downpipe work on a CA is to reorient the turbo-end flange, it got me wondering if I could just use a standard unmodified SR downpipe if I got the elbow off of a SR also.

From my looking at it my guess is that it would work, but can anyone confirm this?

Hey lay off. We don't need to treat others like that. He is a noob, but try and be a little more helpful instead of just insulting him and not helping.

I did a big write up earlier on this. Basically it boils down to this...

Yes the SR o2 housing will work on the CA turbo and you can then use an unmodified SR downpipe.... BUT!!!

The SR o2 housing is about an inch and a half longer than the CA o2 housing. So it will hang a bit lower from the bottom of the car than it would if you did CA/Modded SR downpipe combo.

I bought a stock SR o2 housing for this purpose, but I never did use it. If you want one to look at or try yourself, 25 bucks to your door it is!
