well my transmission is leaking gear fluid from the transmission on the end of where the driveshaft and transmission meet. i pulled the old output seal and replaced it. the seal was torn. i put the new one in and put everything back in, in reverse order and when i put more gear fluid in there the gear fluid still leaked out the same spot. im not sure whats going on. any advise on what to do? is there another seaal or what not in the transmission that could be torn also that is casing it to leak in that area?

I don't know if this will help but is the fluid level correct? Could having too much fluid in the system cause this?

I would check the shifter plate. That's where mine is leaking.
