sr trans and ka trans

I have a good ka trans and and bad sr trans ,Grinds into gears and sometimes dosent like to let me in gears from complet stop.

My question is i was told that i kan take the bell housing off the sr sliden it on the ka and install on my sr20det.?

Is that tru and is it worth it.?ANy effects of doing that.

yes you can swap the front bell housings..very easy to dowoulde recommend changing the front and rear seals out as well as the paper style gasket inside the bell housing behind the front cover.

thanks well be doing that real soon.Aslo can i put the jdm speed sensor in that trans.(should)vise versa.

Trying to keep jdm dash for now.
