Just thought some might be interested: I went to the track, no times just friday night streetracing. I hit 108 in the 1/4 mi.

and I beat my friend with a CA runing 12 lbs of boost bad, twice, I beat a T3/T4 turbo Integra LS and a DSM.

it was fun :)

I have fuel pumpFMIC3" all the way backclutchintakestock boost

And major traction problems!!!

No way. You can't have traction problems and run a 108 in the quarter on stock boost unless you have at least an upgraded turbo and probably some 10.5" slicks in the back with a Limited Slip.

If you have traction problems, 95-100 in the quarter depending on you rear end and tire, is a good MPH for the quarter.

I have friends running 1BAR out of the T25's running 13.3's at 103. 108 is like a high 12, flat 13 for our cars with SR20's.

Take it to a track, thats the only way you will find out accurate numbers, and be forewarned... you might be sadly mistaken. I was to an extent.

Thanks for the info BUd, but it WAS a track, Spokane Raceway Park, and I do have two perfectly working eyes, so do my friends. I dont necissarily trust myself to see my speed while driving but its not too hard with a HUD, plus out of the 6 runs i did, two times friends rode along and one said about 105 and the other said 108, which as far as the green lights glowing on my windshield said, they were acurate.

I beat my freinds DSM, and he has a 16G turbo, FMIC and is runnin 18 psi. and I don't think he has traction problems with 135s on all four corners.

I dunno maybe I am running more than .5 bar? I dont have the wires hooked up to the stock boost controller. I have the Ka speed sensor in my transmission. So I assume my MPH is right.

I know what saw... :)

weird... at 99mph with a 1.8 60ft i hit a 13.5 all stock. that would put you in low 13's sounds weird?

What is also weird, is that your speedo might possibly be out. Cause I know at the track I was hitting like 170kph which is like 105mph, when in reality I was trapped at 99 or so. Oh well. No biggie.

Also, the actual "trap speed" is an average of your last 60' or 100' or, i forget the actual figure. That in combination with a little bit of an optimistic speedo (which they all are at those kinda speeds due to slippage) and i'd say you're actually trapping somewhere around 97, 98 in reality if it were a real run. Which should get you a high 13 with a reasonable 60' time, which seems about right for your level of mods.

The stock speedo in our car sucks when you get going fast. I think I already ranted about this in another post. If I have, here it is again. If I haven't, well cool... now I get to rant about it.

I was on the way home from Reno a couple of weeks ago. Coming down the highway out in the middle of bum **** nowhere I came up on a town. On the outskirts of town they had one of those, "Your speed is..." type of mobile radar systems. Since I saw it coming from a ways away, I totally got on the gas to fly past it as fast as I could.

When I went past it, my speedo was in the 95+ range. The actual radar reading was 86mph. And yes, I have stock sized wheels and tires, stock gearing, etc.

So keep in mind, just because you and your friends saw your dashboard say 108 or whatever, does not really mean that you were going 108.

I wish it was more accurate, cause I got all excited the first time I went down the track and read a 105mph on the dash. But only to realize it was like 99 or 100pmh. Dammit. OH well.

why didnt the track time you? The track i run always times everybody no matter how slow. I have proof. Check out this time slip were talking major traction problems.

ok, ok. I'm wrong :) but it is still awesome, I guess the speedos get more and more off exponentially? mine is like off 2mph when I go about 35mph according to those radar boxes.

On that same note my frind with the CA got a S-AFC and it shows his RPMs to be almost 1000 lower than his stock gauge does. Oh well... :)

I don't get what people are confused about? No traction means higher trap speeds for the same ET? Why are you saying his trap speed should be lower?

Why do you think supra's can run like mid 11's with no traction at 140mph.

I

um...

increase wheelspin = increased trap speed

that is true, if your traction in decreased via wheel spin, your mph increases.

Even 99 mph is a very good trap speed.
