sr t25 Q

ok so i did some searching around and couldnt exactly find what i was looking for. im going to be a running an sr t25, intake, 3in turbo back, fmic and probably megasquirt, what should i be able to put down with a good tune??

also which oil lines do i want to use with the sr20 t25, i have both the ca and sr lines

Use the CA lines or go with steel braided. Also how many lbs do you plan on running? I'm also assuming that your going with stock injectors too? the more detailed info, the better info you'll get back

220-230 is about the max on the SR T25 at around 14psi. You won't run out of injector with the SR T25.

yea stock injectors, nothing over 14-15psi

i can bump up the fuel pressure a bit if i have to

also, is that 220-230 wheel hp or crank hp?

and will the ca maf be ok at this power level or shuld i pick up a ka maf?

The CA MAFS should be OK, but pretty close to it's limit. I've never liked running anything close to the limit, so you might consider an SR MAFS. It should support those HP levels pretty easily and be pretty cheap and easy to get ahold of. You're also close on the injectors as well, but once again, w/in the limits. A few PSI bump in fuel pressure should be OK and tune it appropriately.

You do have a walbro and Adjustable FPR, right?

That fuel pump should be just fine. I'd add 10-15% to the fuel pressure, get an SR MAFS, and tune it.

I believe that 14 PSI is the SR T25's max duty cycle. I dunno for sure seeing as I cant get my AVCR hooked up for the life of me.

Duty cycle is a rating for injector output percentage. You are thinking efficency for that turbo.

I run my T25G @ 12psi just to be safe. No knock, and if I punch it in a low gear from 3-4k, it will break the tires loose. That means it is enough power for my needs.

if im running near his setup but without the megasquirt what could i expect?

Ill be running FMIC, 3" turbo back system, and a SR T25

Speaking of... (OT btw). It dipped down to the low 40s the other morning and I let the car warm up for 10mins or so. I was pulling out to leave to take the woman to work and there was some traffic coming do I shifted to second and punched it. The car hauled ***! Back tires broke loose and the car was fishtailing and whatnot. And I have a vlsd. This was at 14psi on a T28. Craziness.

This reminds me of something I meant to bring up about the HLSD, since I've switched to it, it is MUCH harder to get the rear end loose. With the VLSD, it was pretty easy but the HLSD must put the power down more evenly. The positive side to it is that it doesn't fishtail nearly like a VLSD will. [/offtopic]

it would be interesting to compare track times between the two, if you could get consistent enough results with each

Back to offtopic, I might consider a HLSD if power becomes that much of an issue with fishtailing. Its not like we are all running these CA's to drift or whatnot. [/offtopic]

When you get done, you will have to report on how well the megasquirt does for you, they seem really cost-efficient compared to alot of other management systems and easy to set up too...
