I did a bunch of searching and couldn't find a definative answer as to what a safe maximum level of psi for a stock CA (would get very mixed/contridicting facts) with the following mods....

- FMIC- Walbro pump- 3" exh.

I've been running it at around 11-12 psi for awhile now after getting some more enspiering answers from here BUT, I would like a definative answer for peace of mind.

I have no issues with running lean or anything, just curious to what more experienced people have done.

I know someone will most likely link a page to it instantly and it has most likely been talked about a million times, but I guess I'm interweb retarded for not being able to find it.

Thanks alot.....

You could run the sr t25 at 14psi safely, but you'll need to add in some fuel up top to keep her from running lean. You would probably want some 444cc injectors and a tune, or bump up the fuel pressure and tune, but I would recommend the former.

Thanks alot man.

I had a good feeling that anything more than that would need more tuning/fuel.

I think I'll keep it at 11-12 for now and when the T3 is on later this summer all fuel support/ECU tuning will be handled then. I feel like spending large $$$ this year on it.

Thanks again.

As Tim said, 14-15psi is good for that turbo, but you'll need supporting fuel and tuning mods to do that safely. The 11-12psi that you're running now is fine.

I ran at about 15 psi for a couple of years. When we tore down my old motor however, we found that #4 had a cracked ring land. On my new motor, I run 12psi.

12-14 is good. Above that, you are pretty much past the compressor's efficiency, as heat soak sets in. 15+ will blow a lot of air, but it will not give you more power.
