Yeah, any S14 info is a pain in the rear end. However, S14 motor into S14 is not nearly as hard as S14 SR into S13 chasis... although that isn't that hard either. Let me know what kind of diagrams you need and I'll see what I can dig up from my huge collection of assorted SR info.

mmm. The joy of making a non ODB-II motor work with an ODB-II car.

See Al's info on the 96 model harness changes. Add to the S13 - S14 re-pin diagram.

I shall have to add to the website sometime.

Al is a dirty nigerian, and his S14 was sponsored by Jamaica.

Just to clarify, the S13 SR is not ODB-II compliant.

Yes, alot of differences.

NCVS, larger turbo, different intake manifold, low port head, and slight variations to other parts.

Obviously, but the motor will run fine in an OBDII car.

I was comparing the "230 hp" one you mentioned to the S13 engines.

If you are asking what the differences are between the red and black top S13 motors you can look at the FAQ thats stickied at the top of the forum.

It's funny how you're always referring to the s14 sr20 as the "special black top"! It's not special...it's just another sr20, but from an s14.
