yep. if they used the ka lower harness then you can use ka sensors. the ka and sr trans are the same, except for that sensor in the middle of the ka trans and it doesnt matter. if its an s13 sr then you need sensors from s13 if it was an s14 sr you need s14 sensors. if they used the sr lower harness you need to go get in their shyt and make them give you a lower ka harness or new sr sensors. if you know how to solder and they used the sr harness just solder the new sensors to the harness. its a whole load of crap that the speed shops give people to make money. most people, even the ones that know about cars, believe them cause they are a shop or they dont know any better. for example i talked to this shop about a starter, they said $200 for a used one? what the funk, the only diff. between the sr and ka starter is the mounting plate and if you got half a brain you can use a ka starter to rebuild the sr and not spend a penny. is there a problem with the trans?

hold on. if your lower harness has big connectors on it then it is the ka. DONT NOT CUT AND PASTE IF YOU HAVE THE KA LOWER HARNESS. the sensors from auto zone will plug straight in and work no problems. i actullay think one is the 5th gear sensor, it tells the computer when the car is in 5th and the computer, if its not been flashed, should limit the rpm so the car stays under 115mph. the one on the bottom near the bellhousing is the reverse sensor. DONT CUT THE KA HARNESS.

truboost, do they have autozone in japan? my clip came with an oil filter from autozone and i was curious if someone might have changed the fluids before he sold me the clip.
