I got my 90' 240sx apart and now waiting on Daunt for the sr20 to go back in it. I have plenty to do to it while i am waiting though. Any suggestions while it is apart would be welcome. By the way this thing is so easy to work on i love it and havent even driven it yet.

Might as well get the stuff needed for power steering installed while your waiting (the lines). And maybe just do the general cleaning of the entire engine bay, this would probably be a good/easy time.

Yes, definitely paint your engine bay or at least clean it really well. Also do the PS lines like Speed said along with any other stuff that may be hard to reach with the motor in. I would also buy new motor mounts and stuff so you have them ready when the time comes.

BTW, where in Texas are you located? Anywhere close to CS?

The powersteering lines i think i read that i have to use lines from a 91'. Will check the archives on that 1. I hope to have the whole car through the paint shop by the time it gets here. Also checking the rack and all the other goodies under the front end while i can get to them easily. Thanks for your replies. Hopefully i will have pics of the beast up soon.

Yes it is much easier to use the DOHC lines, though the SOHC lines can be used if need be.
