OK, I'm putting an S13 black top 5speed sr into a 91 240sx hatchback automatic. The clip I'm getting has no body panels. It would have a side mount intercooler wouldn't it? Where would it go? Will I need JDM body parts to house it?

I don't think It has a drive shaft but I'm checking on that. Assuming It has no drive shaft, will I need one? Will an SR 5speed transmission bolt onto a USDM auto driveshaft? If not, what shaft will I need?

Anyway, If anyone knows the answers to these or knows where a good swap quide that would cover this swap let me know

All you need to do to use the side mount intercooler is enlarge the hole in your body. I have a pic of it but you just need to copy the shape of the hole thats coming with your clip.

If i were u , i wouldnt bother with the stock intercooler, just save up ur money for a smic or fmic, i heard there not reliable above stock boost levels.

i put the side mount on from my clip, just cause it was there...the clip also came with a 12lb actuator and ive had no problems.

yeah the s13 sr smic actually bolts onto any s13 chassis.. even the brackets that hold it up. u just need to drill a bigger hole for the piping (it even has a template so you know where to drill).

i would also recommend a fmic like the others though... at first i was cheap and opted to stay with teh smic, but i ended upgrading a few months later. most likely you'll eventually need it, unless you plan to stay on stock boost
