As long as you aren't HUD.You don't need to do anything with the dash harness. You just need a DOHC cluster which should plug right into existing wiring (no splicing or anything required). And you need to use the KA 5-speed Speed Sensor and put that in the SR transmission for your speedo to remain correct.
im using a speed sensor from my sohc 1990 it works. my tach doens't work though cause it's still the sohcSteady_One_S13 wrote:

so are you still using the sohc dash plug? or did you splice the dohc?Justin35ll wrote:im using a speed sensor from my sohc 1990 it works. my tach doens't work though cause it's still the sohc
I am fairly certain that SOHC speed sensors also work. As long as it came from a manual.Steady_One_S13 wrote:Make sure that the KA 5-Spd sensor is from a 91-94 DOHC.
Cool. if it works, use it.. Never tried one.DuckyD wrote:

And Driftiteasy- You don't need a "tach sensor". As long as you have the DOHC cluster it will work just fine. Justin was referring to his tach not working because he is still using a SOHC cluster.
