sr swap problem

this may be the wrong forum but ill ask anyway.i just purchased a sr20 from ARP for my 97 240sx the motor is from a s13 but the person my mechanic spoke to over there said ii need to buy the s14 motor, both are redtops and my mechanic has only done two swap which were in older 240'smy question to you is will a motro from a s13 fit in my 97 240sx and if so what if any problems will i face .any help is great ,i need to know asap the s13 motor is on the truck on its way to his shop.

i have not done the s13 motor in a s14 but most of our sponsors can do the wiring for you through the mail. that tells me it cant be too hard. i say go ahead with it. if your guy can do redtops into s13's he should be able to do them into s14's too.
