SR Swap on 1990 240sx

What complications would i run into with putting a SR20DET into a 1990 240sx, compaired to putting one into a 91+?

go to http://www.srswap.com and go to the "faq" page and look at all the topics. they tell you some of the complication that you will run into with a sohc engine swap to the sr20det.

I searched there and the only thing i cam up with was the AC issue.

Theres power steering issues, and dash cluster issues, other than the AC thats about all the issues there are that are different from a DOHC. Was my email informative?

What do u mean a problem?? cause tha place that is installing mine is charging me 900... to do all... and they have done 3 sr swaps already ( stage 6 shop ). i have a 89.... would that be even harder?:thinker

im looking for a 89-90 240 for the swap too, i dont care about ac as i whould remove it before the engine goes in. but power steering is good.

ok im going to be doing the swap myself and using the article in SCC as the how too. is there any wrong info, or anything at all i should know about the article?

I have an 89....Just bought it and the first day I got it, I got it swapped....The only complications are Power Steering (WHO NEEDDS IT ANYWAY) and A/C...(I dont care..as long as I'm fast)....other than that, maybe the cluster, but it will only take like 20 min to make it work...Mines runs fine!
