Sr Swap_need Help Asap_plz

IN NEED OF HELP- Maybe u can help me.... Ok I got some plugs left over... but aim not sure was they go?I have one that is on the frame. Not the harness.... all the way by the passenger-side then the group of clips that are by the MAF wires..Also by the battery, there are 3 clips on the SR harness and 2 on frame?NO START.... Engine cranks, sparks, there is fuel pressure but no fuel in cylinder? If u have any info … plz let me know.

Are your fuel lines connected right? And are you getting power to your injectors?

yea check the fuel lines, a lot of peeps-myself included-switch them, and its normal to have a lot of plugs left, jsut look at the motor and plug what u can. and the battery area thing u have to redo the plugs. go herehttp://www.srswap.com and go to swap faq and read it all, helps a ton

hey guys i got it started, runs, but wont hold a idel ? any info

i have to keep a rev so it can stay on...

any info, plz help

Its a completely different beast...but i will sare my expierence with idle.In my 2001 civic i had a RSX-S motor swap done. And it couldnt hold and idle either. It would rev to 2000rpm, then suddenly drop to 500rpm, then back up, and down....and it would do this all the time. One night after a quick drive to kind of checking on hoses and stuff like that, make sure there were no leaks, it was gone. The idle was perfect. turns out, the ECU just had to learn again. Maybe its the same situation...i dont know.

well guys i fixed the idel problem but something sad has happenand i also need help

got the car to idel, fixed a oil leak i had, and then took the car off the left and wanted to test drive it.... well

it ran hard, strong, and fast......

but when i stoped and went back in my gorage it was blowing smoke, white smoke (oil)

but iam hoping its from the turbo and not the head gasket...

up for tommorrow is comperssion test if ok then new turbo going on

P.S ( i had a old 300zx which had allmost 200,000 on it)so iam praying that was my problem

if any info on this plz let me know b4 the nites over....

Yeah, thats definitely coolant...i would recomend looking for obvious leaks...(doubtful) and do a compression check. Its most likely your headgasket(sorry)

Unless there was a ton of smoke pointing to an obvious problem, then I would not worry about it smoking on your first test drive. When I first swapped my car I was paraniod about all the weird smells and smoke coming from my car. Turned out it was just crap burning off from the engine. These engines have been sitting for a while and have been shipped half way around the world, a little smoke is to be expected at first. Just take it easy for a while and 9 times out of 10 you will that there is no real problem.

hey.. i just got up loliam on my way to the gorage

i thought that it could me since i just test drove it...

but b4 i drove it i had th car on... rev up a little.. but not driving

i have a sr20det, t3, no FMIC (hotpipe)

p.s. whats a good way to drill trough that exhuast manifoldfor my wastegate...
