SR swap is it smog legal in CA?

I heard that if I did a SR swap in my 240 that it might not be street legal and wont pass CA smog is it true?

i know a couple of guys that have the sr and still run there car on the street. there alot more careful and they play it real cool around cops. im sure theres people one here with an sr swap as a daily driver.

I have an sr in my daily driver.

its illegal, even if I can pass smog...

but then its also illegal to look this good
