SR startup help....

well my friends and myself just got done with this 240sx...and now when we start the motor we haft to crank it then let go of the clutch a bit to start it up...other than that the car is in perfect running order...we all think it is a transmission problem but want some more opinions...ill do it step by step

turn key with clutch depleted yields no startturn key with it in 1st gear and when you turn the key simultaneously let the clutch catch a little and it will start on the 1st or 2nd time... i need some help with this one guys!!! anyone have any ideas....????

and btw does anyone know if a S14 blacktop has a boost limiter in the motor to protect from overboost or do i haft to buy a boost controller to not destoy the motor?
