Ok after some searching and sniffing ive still got no spark. CAS is functioning properly so is the ignitor two . So i started studying the coil system now apparantly I didnt read right so heres my point of view with the knowledge Ive gathered. Alright theres 3 wires at the coils 1 wich is the negative for the ecu and is used to disrupt the continuity of the circuit and causes the current from 2 the constant hot causing it to jump to the second wrap around coil wich is grounded to the 3rd pin E . So im looking at the current passing through 2 and testing the grounds 1 and 3 and im getting some pretty confusing readings. K the constant is 12v when grounded to 3 but when grounded to 1 it varies on the first plug Im only getting 3.5 volt from pin 1 but on the rest of the coils though Im gettin only .5 a volt could this be from a bad connection a bad ground a bad ecu or have I just completely misrunderstood Hijackers explanation of how the coils work. so what I think Im going to do is start testing continuity between the ecu and coils Im also going to test the ecu ground you should be able to ground to the bolt that holds the ecu plug in correct that would eliminate everything and point souly at the ecu as bad or one of the chassis grounds for the ecu not being hooked up. If by shear luck some one in the north west arkasnsas has a redtop ecu they wouldnt mind letting me plugin to mine Id be willing to supply the gas or beer for the trip. please help me reclaim the soul this car has sucked out of me lol.
