Hello,

I went to Advanced Auto Parts to get NGK plugs for '91 Sentra SE-R (which is the same as the one in SR20DET). They gave me NGK BKR6E. To my surprise, this is the same spark plugs as the one for KA24DE according to '93 FSM. Are they supposed to be the same? Can anyone verify it please? If it is the same, I might as well get 1-step colder plugs BKR7E instead. Please help.

Thanks,

I'd use BKR7E

OK, BKR7E then. It just strikes me as weird how everybody here says the SR and KADE plugs are not the same.

Autozone website says the BKR6E is gaped at .32.. Isnt the SR gapped to .28?

Hmmm, I don't know. Can anybody with SR manual tell us? Oh, wait, there is no SR manual in English I suppose.

the s14 manual doesnt give a gap. Only the part numbers standard "PFR6B-9" and cold "PFR7B-9" Think Nissan USA would have these for some reason? If so, maybe they could tell us the right gap.

EDIT: I pulled out my plugs, the are PFR6b
