SR shaking violently

i own a 91 hatch with a red top SR and i was driving down the street and i was at a stop light and i notice that my cars idle is lower than it normally is and i continue driving down to the nearest gas station and on the way there it is backfiring after everyshift and than i pull over to check on it and i see that the engine is shaking alot and i head home to see if i can figure out wats wrong but now the whole f-ing car is shaking i get home and everything on the engine looks fine except for the shaking... what do u guys think is the problem???

Not firing on one cylinder. Check your spark plugs.

i agree with redtop. if they're old plugs, replace and you'll be fine. if they're newish, you'll have to figure what fouled them.

And please make your topic titles less ambiguous. You'll get better and quicker responses. Also, you won't make me mad
