SR sellers in washington

Has anyone heard of Monarch Trading or RJC Trading/JDM Liquidators, they both sell engines on ebay and it says that they are from Seattle?? does anyone have any experience with them??? Also do you guys know any other people that sell SR's in the seattle area???

a few people have had a lot of trouble from Monarch trading. Remember you get what you pay for. Ebay usually = crappy motor or incomplete motor. Get your motor from a reputable source. I got mine from Heavy Throttle. There are other great shops as well. Use the Search button to find other threads.

Yeah I think Monarch was found to be a bad company. Foreign engines up behind Acura of Lynnwood sells SR's. But they dont know much about engines so if you buy one there then make sure you know alot about SR's because they dont.

I live like 2 miles from Acura of Lynwood, maybe I'll scout out that foreign engines shop when I come home this summer.

Someone named "James" I think on this board. I think they established themselves as a bad company on NWN too.

has anyone heard of JDM liquidators/RJC Trading??? they are the same company also selling on ebaythe reason im interested is because even though they sell on ebay they are from this area and i can probably come and check out the engines before I bid

DONT USE THEM!!!!!! they tried screwing me for 3k dollars! I ended up getting my $$ back after I drove to there parents house with the cops!

they have about 4 diffrient name, but the name on there busniess license and bank account is RJC trading. They are located in mt vernon but they say seattle and bellignham to miss inform people

Well they probably say Seattle or Bellingham because most people dont know where Mt Vernon is, most people in WA probably dont even know where it is. But nevertheless, stick to a more reputable company.

Just saw a seller on ebay called rkcarguy, he looks like he has pretty good reviews from buyers, no negative feedback, deals in all types of engines, it says hes from Bellingham...

has anyone dealt with him????

I bought my RB20DET clip from him. Sent a money order (held my breath), and a week later the pallet with the front clip arrived as described. Just way too busy to install it!

Reason I went with him is positive feedback from four Datsun (510 & roadster) guys who bought SR20 & SR20DET's for their cars. All four were positive.

Ryan is a good guy to deal with.

ANOTHER GOOD source: http://www.spriso.com Michael & Ralph, I've known them from the Mt. Shasta Datsun meet for a good 10 years (usually I'm out there every other year). Both guys head over to Japan to pick out the clips they send back, but last time I checked all engine combos were presold. Worth checking on. (They had lots of Silvia sheet metal clips.... suspect engines had been sold before they got here... both a long time datsun guys I've known, so they take their time inspecting what gets shipped back)

they also use the name JDM liquidatorrs or some other name but they also list their phone number and when you call the answer machine says rjc trading, they dont have anything on ebay as of right now but about 3-5 days ago they were selling 2 JDM RHD civics
