I'm guessing your fans are on all the time? <130 seems pretty low, even with a nismo t-stat.
If you do go this route, make sure not to put the relay that controls the switch near anything hot or it wont switch on. And when I say anything hot I mean around 150 (which is anywhere near the engine bay). I tried to protect it by putting it under the intake but it still acted up after driving the car for more than an hour. I paid $80 for that unit from enjuku but my fans are currently hardwired to a switch. The sensitivity of this unit to heat is ridiculous in terms of practical use. I'm sure you can get it to work, but not without much trouble.tenkawa_akito wrote:but out of curiosity. Kenrik, have you checked into adding a temp switch that will turn your fans on at a specific temp? having your fans run while the car is on can be a huge drain on your battery.
Thank You!!! Just today this happened to me and I was like WTF?!?! I have mine located next to the battery, which for some reason is too hot...But yeah I'm putting mine somewhere else. Now where to put it?SR20Essex wrote:
